Common Questions

Is this converter really free with no limits?

Yes. Completely free, no row limits, no signup required.

Why won't QuickBooks import my CSV directly?

QuickBooks Online's direct CSV import is limited and often fails with date/column format issues. The QBO (OFX) format is more reliable and universally accepted.

Can I use this for historical transactions?

Yes — the converter works for any date range. Useful for importing months or years of history when first setting up QuickBooks.

What if my bank uses a European date format (DD/MM/YYYY)?

The converter handles DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, and YYYY-MM-DD date formats automatically.

Does this work for QuickBooks Desktop?

No — QuickBooks Desktop uses IIF format. Use the [CSV to IIF converter](/csv-to-iif) instead.
